Cal. 12 ga. 1st SET: 30″ bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib, silver center & silver front sighting beads, 2-3/4″ chambers, FULL / FULL chokes; left side of bbls in chamber area marked “WINCHESTER – 12 GAUGE / 2-3/4 CHAM.”. 2ND SET: 26″ bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib with sgl silver sighting bead, 2-3/4″ chambers, IMP-CYL / MOD chokes; left side of bbls in chamber area marked “MODEL 21 – WINCHESTER / – TRADE MARK – / – 12 GAUGE 2-3/4”. Sgl selective trigger & ejectors. Standard receiver with trigger plate marked “TRAP” over top of screw. Mounted with select grade “streaky” walnut, checkered pistol grip, Winchester hard rubber grip cap with brass initial shield in center with initials “W.S.N.”, Winchester solid red recoil pad & checkered beavertail forend. 1st SET: Bore diameter: left -.730, right -.730. Bore restrictions: left -.035, right -.028. Wall thickness: left -.026, right -.031. Drop at heel: 1-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. 10 oz. LOP 14-1/4″. 2ND SET: Bore diameter: left -.729, right -.728. Bore restrictions: left -.010, right -.005. Wall thickness: left -.034, right -.031. Drop at heel: 1-3/4″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight: 7 lbs. 6 oz. LOP 14-1/4″. Accompanied by Cody Firearms Museum letter identifying gun as Trap grade, 12 ga. 30″ bbls, choked FULL / FULL, sgl trigger, non-automatic safety, pistol grip, Winchester recoil pad, 14-3/8″ LOP, drop at heel 1-13/16″, drop at comb 5/16″, selective ejection; started inspection Dec. 28, 1948, & completed Dec. 30, 1948; returned & repaired June 9, 1949, on order no. 114203-1; returned & repaired Jan. 23, 1950, on order no. 133086; returned & repaired Sept. 10, 1951, on order no. 14608, extra bbl set 12/26 IMP-CYL / MOD. Also accompanied by leather 2-bbl case having salmon-colored canvas cover with leather corners. CONDITION: Fine. 1st set of bbls retain 95-98% blue with slight muzzle wear, slight wear at chambers, a few minor nicks & scrapes & very shallow dent about midpoint of left bbl; might be factory restored finish. 2nd set of bbls 95-98% blue with minor muzzle wear, minor wear at chambers, rub mark from forend & a few light handling marks. Receiver has 95-98% blue, with small amount of thinning at edges of carrying area & a few minor scratches. Stock is solid & numbered to gun, with typical nicks & dings, a few light scratches & a fine hand-worn patina to orig finish. Forend is solid & numbered to gun, with good checkering & hand-worn patina to orig finish. Mechanics are crisp with strong ejectors & good shiny bores in both sets of bbls.
