Cal. 12 ga. 28″ Trojan Steel bbls with tapered, matted, concave rib with sgl brass sighting bead, 2-9/16″ chambers, MOD / FULL chokes with dbl triggers & extractors. Top rib is marked “PARKER BROS. MAKERS. MERIDEN. CT. U.S.A. TROJAN STEEL”. Non-engraved receiver is marked on each side “PARKER BROS”. Mounted in straight grain American walnut with checkered pistol grip & serrated hard rubber butt plate. Diamond-checkered splinter forend. Bore diameter: left -.735, right -.734. Bore restrictions: left -.037, right -.028. Wall thickness: left -.027, right -.033. Drop at heel: 2-5/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/4″. Weight: 7 lbs. 9 oz. LOP 14″. PROVENANCE: The David Herrmann Collection. CONDITION: Fine. Bbls retain virtually all of a professional, factory quality, restored finish. Receiver retains 75-80% orig case coloring with only some minor oxidation spots across the bottom & balls of receiver. Top lever has flaked to mostly a brown patina, as has the trigger guard, with wear through the grip area. Stock is solid with usual light nicks & dings and carries a light coat of added finish.
