*INCREDIBLE TERZI ENGR. BERTUZZI ZEUS SIDELOCK OVER/UNDER W/CASE. SN 6098. Cal. 12 ga. 28″ bbls solid hand filed tapered rib with single silver sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers with MOD/IMP-MOD chokes. Single trigger and ejectors. Left side of bbl marked “FILI BERTUZZI ITALY”. “BU” date code indicates 2004 manufacture. This magnificently game scene engraved receiver has vignettes on left side of running hare, sitting woodcock, flushing woodcock and escaping in flight woodcock and pointing setter surrounded by leafy vine scroll surrounded by fine foliate arabesque scroll. Right side has alert rooster pheasant, 2 nesting partridge, 2 partridge in flight and 2 pointing long haired pointers surrounded by leafy vine scroll surrounded by fine foliate arabesque scroll. Bottom of receiver is engraved with 2 alert labs, “FILI BERTUZZI” and surrounded by floral and ribbon scroll around tight foliate arabesque scroll. Trigger plate is signed “M TERZI”. Mounted with a great piece of exhibition walnut with dropper points, fine checkered straight grip, checkered butt, full checkered field style forend with engraved metal tip release, gold Bertuzzi crest, engraved diamond shaped escutcheons, engraved forend iron with scroll and two tiny vignettes with pintail ducks in flight. Bore diameter: top .727, bottom .725. Bore restrictions: top .022, bottom .015. Wall thickness: top .032, bottom .037. Drop at heel: 2″, drop at comb: 1-38″. Weight: 7lbs. 7oz. LOP 14-3/8″. Accompanied with Nozzoli leather luggage case with brass corners and maker’s label. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Appears new since manufacture. BBls having 99% orig. blue. Fabulous finish on receiver, stock has a couple minor handling marks and virtually all of its hand rubbed finish. Forend is sound with a minor handling mark on bottom, crisp checkering and virtually all of its hand rubbed finish. Mechanics are crisp with non-automatic safety, strong ejectors and bright shiny bores. Case is excellent with a few minor scuffs. 4-35877 BDT211 (45,000-65,000)
