*MAUSER “G” DATE S/42 CODE LUGER PISTOL & RIG WITH TECHNICAL POLICE HOLSTER. SN 9663d. Cal. 9 mm. Scarce complete pistol & rig with 4″ bbl, “S/42” on front toggle link, “G” over chamber & Eagle “63” proof on right side of receiver. Accompanied by a brown “ROBERT LARSEN BERLIN 1935” and “TP” (Technical Police) marked police style holster & two matching numbered bright stainless magazines & an unmarked takedown tool. Mounted with full checkered walnut grips that are unnumbered. This as issued “G” date rig would be hard to upgrade in any collection. PROVENANCE: Doug Smith Collection. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine, as new, retaining about 98%+ orig factory blue & about 98-99% orig straw colors. Grips are extremely fine showing light wear on the diamond points with wood grain showing through. Magazines & takedown tool are also near new. Crisp mechanics, brilliant shiny bore.
