*PAUL JAEGER CUSTOM FN MAUSER BOLT ACTION RIFLE. SN X0429. Cal. 270. 22″ bbl without sights marked, “Paul Jaeger. Jenkintown, PA.” The action is marked on left side, “FN Action – Made in Belgium, Firearms Intl. Corp. Wash. D.C.” Bolt is two panel checkered with flat bottom. Safety is trigger mounted and on right side of tang. Floor plate and trigger guard are engraved with bold floral and foliate scroll, with stippled background with gold wire border and a lounging gold ram inlaid over a rocky background surrounded by gold wire border. Topped with a Redfield 2-7 and Redfield rings and bases. Stocked in fancy walnut with 90 degree black forend, swivel stud, Fleur De Lis checkered forend, Fleur De Lis checkered pistol grip with engraved grip cap with gold border, cheek piece, thin solid black recoil pad, and swivel stud in toe line with gold initial oval engraved, “E.O.” CONDITION: Extremely fine. Metal retains 98-99% blue with only a few minor scratches. Stock is sound with just a couple of minor handling marks and all of it’s fine custom hand rubbed finish.
