Cal. 30-06. 24″ octagon to round bbl with two gold muzzle bands engraved, “Frank Wells – Rifle Maker.” Gold caliber markings, and bold foliate scroll finished in gray with gold wire borders. The receiver, bolt handle, bolt shroud, and scope ring are relief engraved in bold foliate scroll and finished in gray, with gold wire borders, gold SN, and gold “Fire” on safety. The floor plate and trigger guard are relief engraved in foliate scroll finished in gray, with gold wire borders, and oval with gold “Sable” with relief wooded scene behind. Stocked in highly figured streaky walnut with 90 degree black forend tip, screwless engraved inlet sling swivel bases, Fleur De Lis checkered forend, Fleur De Lis checkered pistol grip with engraved grip cap with gold, “JRD” and gold wire border, left side cheek piece, engraved with gold wire border steel butt plate, with gold “Nyala” in an oval with stippled background.
