*SCARCE BROWNING/FABRIQUE NATIONALE D5 GRADE SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. SN 58986S76. Cal. 12ga. 27-1/2″ bbls with broadway-style vent rib with single white Bradley sighting bead. 2-3/4″ chambers and unmarked for choke, ejectors and single trigger. The D5 engraving by A. Dierckx is of an elaborate floral foliate scroll on receiver and matching on appended metal. Mounted in exhibition quality walnut with checkered fluted 3-piece target fore end and checkered long tang pistol grip stock. 14-3/8″ to checkered hard rubber butt plate. Bore diameter: top .726 , bottom .724. Bore restrictions: top .005, bottom .003. Wall thickness: top .036, bottom .038. Drop at heel: 2-1/8″, drop at comb: 1-3/8″. Weight:.7lbs 6ozs. Accompanied with Browning luggage case Model #1515E. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Appears possibly un-fired. Bbls retain 99% original blue. Grade receiver and appended metal are clean and bright. Stocks are sound with only the most minor of handling marks retaining virtually all of their factory oil finish with sharp clean checkering.
