*PAIR OF ARRIETA SIDE LOCK EJECTOR SIDE LOCK SELF OPENING 12 BORE SHOTGUNS. SN 267-96, 268-96. 29″ bbls are marked “FOA DE ESCOPETAS ARRIETA ELGOIBAR ESPANA Made in Spain.” Left bbls marked “Wingshooters Ltd. Grand Rapids, Michigan U.S.A.” The coin finished and Holland-style self-opening actions show 80% coverage of typical Spanish scroll and are marked on the bottom “FABRICA DE ARRIETA Y CIA ELGOBAR.” The sgl beaded trigger guards have the letters “AC” inlaid in gold. The top levers have “1” and “2” inlaid in gold. Guns have automatic ejectors, dbl triggers with front triggers articulated, Holland-style detachable sidelocks, and splinter forends. The straight grip, nicely-streaked European walnut stocks are a close match with the wood of gun 1 being slightly darker. The length of pull is 14-7/8″ over a skip-lined checkered wood butt. Gun 1) Bore diameter: right -.728, left -.729. Bore restrictions: right -.010, left -.019. Wall thickness: right -.034, left -.031. Drop at comb: 1-1/4″, drop at heel: 2″. Gun 2) Bore diameter: right -.728, left -.728. Bore restrictions: right -.011, left -.020. Wall thickness: right -.031, left -.032. Drop at comb: 1-1/4″, drop at heel: 1-7/8″. Weight:6lbs. 15.5oz. CONDITION: Nearly new with scattered rub marks and dings on buttstock of gun 1 and a few marks in checkering of gun 2. Couple of very minor abrasions on bbls. Bores and chambers are perfect.
