*REMINGTON MODEL 1903 BOLT ACTION MILITARY RIFLE. Cal. 30-06. SN 3198822. WWII produced 1903 with 24” Remington bbl dated “6-42” with Type 2 rear sight sleeve. Mounted in 1-pc walnut stock with full upper handguard, sheet metal bbl band with swivels, straight stock & smooth buttplate with trap. Stock has a partial cartouche on left side, apparently a light strike. It has the “P” proof back of triggerguard with a small “H” and a small Ordnance Corps bomb below lower swivel. CONDITION: Very fine. Retains about 99% orig gray/green parkerizing with only faint sharp edge wear. Stock is sound with minor nicks & scratches and retains most of its orig oil finish. Mechanics are fine, bore has been bored smooth and has light to moderate pitting. 4-30681 JR399 (300-500)
