*SCARCE COLT ALASKAN PHILLIPINE MODEL 1902 DA REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. SN 44886. Blue finish with 6” rnd bbl, single action style orig front sight with ejector rod housing, usual bbl markings with birdhead grip frame, having rampant Colt hard rubber grips with a lanyard loop in the butt. It has “US” on right side of frame along with model number & various inspector initials on frame & cyl. It has the distinctive oversized triggerguard and elongated trigger. Previously in collection of Buddy Hackett. CONDITION: Very good to fine, all matching. It retains about 70% thin orig blue, strong & bright in sheltered areas with some pitting & chemical spotting on bbl. Grips are sound showing light to moderate wear and have turned chocolate.
