HARPERS FERRY MODEL 1842 MUSKET. Cal. 69. NSN. 42” rnd bbl. Standard markings on lockplate and bbl. Rear of lockplate is dated “1847”. Date on bbl tang has been polished off. Outline of a cartouche is partially visible on left side of stock. CONDITION: Professionally cleaned to nearly-new condition. There is a hairline crack at buttplate.
