PARKER P GRADE DAMASCUS DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 64859. Listed in the Parker Gun Identification & Serialization book as a “PT” grade and states that it was a Grade O with plain twist bbls. Built on a No. 1 frame with 30” twist bbls choked IMP-CYL/CYL by gauge, measures FULL/FULL with tapered, concave, matted rib with sgl ivory bead, doll’s head rib extension, extractor & dbl triggers. Mounted with replacement, nicely figured, center burl cut, American walnut with checkered splinter forearm & capped pistol grip stock, 13-5/8” over a Parker dog’s head buttplate. Receiver has light border decorations with foliate arabesque patterns around screws and on fences. This shotgun is in every issue of The Double Gun Journal as an advertisement for the book, The Parker Story. Bore diameter: left – .756, right – .756. Bore restrictions: left – .037, right – .034. Wall thickness: left – .033, right – .033. Drop at heel: 3”, drop at comb: 1-5/8”. Weight: 7 lbs. 5.12 oz. CONDITION: Fine plus. Bbls retain about all of their beautiful, restored, brown twist pattern and receiver retains about 50% faded case colors with balance turned silver.
