ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL MODEL 1905 PROTOTYPE BAYONET. SN 1. 15-15/16” single fuller blade. Marked “US / 1” on the right ricasso. “R.I.A. / ordinance bomb / 1906” on the left. The hilt is blue and the scales are roughened. The blade is polished bright and the metal under the blued parts is also polished bright. No scabbard. CONDITION: Excellent. Light pitting at the tip but no signs of use. 4-58361 FS793 (1,000-2,000)
