SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1884 CADET RIFLE. Cal. 45/70. SN 566903. 29-1/2” rnd bbl. Standard Springfield markings on lockplate and breechblock. “SWP” cartouche is dated 1893. Two-hook leather sling is a later addition. CONDITION: Brown patina overall with some blue on sight. Wood has normal handling marks. Mechanically fine. Very good bore.
