REMINGTON BREECH LOADING SINGLE BBL SHOTGUN #1. Cal. 16 ga. For 16B shotgun shells (20 ga. Paper). SN 219. Standard Remington sgl bbl shotgun with 32” rnd bbl, mounted in walnut stock & forearm with steel buttplate. “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY” stamped on frame tang. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine, bbl retains 96-97% strong orig blue with slight muzzle edge wear and a small nick or two. Receiver retains most of its brilliant orig case colors faded on the triggerguard with an applied lacquer finish. Wood is sound with light nicks and scratches, some oil staining toward the buttplate and retains most of its fine orig factory finish. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bore with a spot or two of rust. Originally from the Jay Lewis Collection. 4-59428 JH9 (1,500-2,500)
