*SCARCE BELGIAN BROWNING SUPERLIGHT SUPERPOSED SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. SN 99629S9. Fine superlight Browning made for the European market with 26-3/8″ bbls choked MOD/IMP-CYL with solid rib & sgl bead with ejectors & sgl selective trigger. Receiver is basically unadorned with only some fine arabesque border patterns & a flower blossom over hinge pin with leaf patterns around top edge. It has the flat side rnd edge superlight receiver with blued trigger. Mounted with straight grain European walnut with tapered checkered forearm & straight stock, 14-1/4″ over a White Line waffle pad. Weight: 7 lbs, .96 oz. Although this serial number is in the salt gun range, it is not believed that any superlights had salt wood & this one exhibits no evidence of salt contamination. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains about 98% strong bright orig factory blue with very minor edge wear & some slight thinning on the bottom of receiver. Wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches & retains most of its orig factory varnish. Mechanics are crisp, bright shiny bores with a few scattered spots of roughness in lower bbl. 4-55510 JR35 (1,500-2,500)
