*COLT SGL ACTION ARMY REVOLVER. Cal. 45 Colt. SN 354770. Blue & case colored with 5-1/2″ bbl, fixed sights and smooth pearl grips. Serial numbers are stamped on the right side of the front & back straps under the grip. Accompanied by a Colt Factory letter identifying this revolver, type of grips not listed and indicates that it was shipped September 19, 1932 to Shapleigh Hardware Co., St. Louis, MO. There is a note on the bottom of the letter “Harvey D. Firestone” with the serial number of this revolver. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Near new, all matching including the cylinder. Grips are not numbered. Blued metal parts retain virtually all of their orig factory bright blue with minor muzzle edge wear and slight wear at the end of the ejector rod housing. Cylinder has a few light scratches and front edge wear. Hammer & frame retain virtually all of their factory case colors, brilliant in sheltered areas, slightly faded elsewhere. Mechanics are crisp, brilliant shiny bore. Right grip was shattered & repaired a long time ago. 4-57023 JR405 (4,000-6,000)
