SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1863 RIFLE MUSKET. Cal. 58. 40” part oct bbl. Dated “1864” on lock and bbl. Cartouches are faintly visible but not readable. CONDITION: Metal parts have been cleaned to bright with sharp edges remaining. Edges on the wood have been rounded slightly and many dents and scratches remain. Mechanically good.
