LOT OF 3 LARGE 19TH CENTURY, CIVIL WAR ERA SPOUTED POTS. 1) Highly decorative 12” tall silver-plated pot with spout being a figural eagle head. A walrus sits atop the hinged lid finial. A lion head sits atop the florally decorated handle. Body of pot is engraved with various geometric bands. A rnd presentation panel is not inscribed. Maker’s mark on bottom of pot reads “E. CAUFMANN, PATd APRIL 28, 1863, PHILAD.”. CONDITION: Overall very good with a few dents. Silver worn through to brass in areas. 2) 9” tall tin coffee pot with copper reinforced bottom. Hinged lid is missing finial. Handle appears to be re-soldered. 3) Massive 14” tall brass spouted pot with wire bale handle. Pot is maker marked “D.H. & M. CO. 43 & 45 WOOSTER STREET, N.Y.”. 4-56213-2 JS149 (200-400)
