JAPANESE ARMOR. (1) Includes chin guard with plates. Red enamel inside, black enamel outside over very thin iron plate. The four matching guard strips are attached with blue laces. CONDITION: Several chips around the outside of the chin piece, and some on the inside. Lower pieces have minor chips and cracks. (2) Similar chest protector, with six pieces attached with blue braid. CONDITION: Braid is much faded with some unraveling at the knots. Minor chipping and cracking on the armor. From the Collection of the late Barney Frost. 4-53555-55 FS233 (200-400)
