JAPANESE SHINTO KATANA IN SHIN-GUNTO MOUNTS. 26 5/8” shinogi zukuri blade with grooves. Gunome midare hamon with itami hada. Ubu nakago is signed “BUZEN (NO) JU FUJIWARA YUKIKATSU”. SIZE: 41 3/8” long overall. CONDITION: Blade in very good polish with only minor scuffs. Shin-gunto hilt complete but no tassel. Scabbard is nickel-plated and of the earlier kyu-gunto type.
