The group, in a 12” x 16” metal case, consists of a period photograph of Suppes in uniform, 3rd Aviation Instruction Center patch, U.S. and Air Service collar insignia, lieutenant’s bars, overseas chevrons, Victory medal with France bar, Victory medal ribbon, identification bracelet, embroidered French Air Service wing, Dallas-style three-pc metal Air Service wing worn in the photograph. Also, a three-ring binder containing 6 copy photographs (with negatives), Air Service, U.S. Army rating certificate booklet, 5 French postcards, and a number of transcribed letters detailing Suppes’ service, 3 pages of Xeroxed material from Hiram Bingham’s book An Explorer in the Air Service, showing Lt.
