*L.C. SMITH IDEAL GRADE FEATHERWEIGHT DBL BBL SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. SN FWS28780. Fine L.C. Smith with 28″ bbls choked FULL/IMP-CYL with raised matted rib, dbl beads, rib extension, ejectors and Hunter One-Trigger. The receiver and lockplates have wide patterns of foliate arabesque engraving which extend over the top of the receiver, opening lever, top tang & trigger guard. It has very nicely figured flame grain American walnut wood with orig schnable tipped beavertail forearm and semi-pistol grip stock, 14″ over an old Hawkins red waffle pad. Bore restrictions: left – .036, right – .007. Drop at the heel 2-1/8″, drop at the comb 1-1/8″. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbls retain most of a fine professionally restored finish. Receiver & lockplates retain 85-90% orig case colors, strong & bright in the sheltered areas and center of the lockplates with the bottom of the receiver fading and turning to silver toward the front.
