*WINCHESTER MODEL 92 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 44 WCF (44-40). SN 987705. Standard carbine with 20″ rnd bbl, full magazine, square base front sight and carbine ladder rear sight with a staple & ring in the left side of the receiver. It has very nicely figured American walnut wood, uncheckered, with straight stock and carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Bbl & magazine tube retain 97-98% strong bright orig blue with a few small nicks and minor muzzle edge wear. Receiver retains about 80-85% strong bright orig blue with the balance flaked, not worn, to a light patina. Lever & hammer retain most of their orig blue as does the buttplate. Wood is sound with a few very scattered, very minor, handling & storage marks and retains virtually all of its bright orig factory finish.
