LOT OF TWO PAINTED CIVIL WAR STYLE CANTEENS. (1) Rnd canteen with ribbed convex sides having three tin hanger loops on the edges with a soldered on neck. It has an old replacement strap through the loops. The canteen is painted white on one side with red, white & blue concentric rings on the other side. CONDITION: Paint is severely crackled and lightly soiled with a couple of old dents. (2) Rnd tin canteen with rolled edge, convex sides with three soldered tin hangers & solid neck with cork & wire pull. Painted a gray/green. CONDITION: Fair. One large and two or three small dents on one side with the other side reasonably intact. Overall retains about 65% paint with a few spots of light rust. 4-54466 4-54523 JR449 (200-400)
