SCARCE GEVELOT CARTRIDGE BOARD. Fine French board that contains 122 cartridges mounted in pairs, various types of wads, two different kinds of shotgun slugs, several over shot cards and the lids of four different types of caps and primers. The top center has the company name and address in gold on wood cutouts. It appears that this is an original board in an original deep shadow box frame that has been relined with a beige colored silk cloth. CONDITION: As previously noted, the frame has a few small chips and light dings and retains most of a fine old refinish. The cartridges and parts are all fine with some fading to the red-colored shot shells. 4-53342 JR943 (1,750-2,750)
