*SCARCE WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 25-35. SN 908932. Standard grade carbine with 20″ rnd bbl, full magazine, square base front sight, slot blank in the rear seat and a Lyman locking tang sight. It has straight grain gum wood stock & forearm with straight grip and smooth carbine buttplate. CONDITION: Extremely fine, the bbl & magazine tube retain about 98% strong bright original blue, slightly dulled on the magazine tube. The receiver retains 94-95% strong bright original blue with the missing blue flaked, not worn, to light patina. The lever retains about 70% original blue and the hammer about 98%. The wood is sound with light handling & use nicks, scratches & dings with a small gouge on the forearm and a couple of bruises on the buttstock, otherwise retains most of its original factory finish.
