ALLEN & THURBER RING TRIGGER PEPPERBOX. Cal. 32. 3-3/4″ ribbed bbls, marked “PATENTED 18×7 CAST-STEEL” on one rib. The “x” should be a 3 and maybe the result of a broken die. The hammer is marked “ALLEN & THURBER / NORWICH C-T.” on the left side and “ALLEN’S PATENT” on top. CONDITION: Brown patina overall with light surface rust and pitting on the bbls, heavier on the frame. Grips retain about 75% of their original varnish. Mechanically good. 4-52976 FS225 (300-500)
