COLT SMALL FRAME LIGHTNING RIFLE. Cal. 22. SN 64402. Standard grade rifle with 24” tapered oct bbl, fixed sights, uncheckered straight grain American walnut wood with straight stock and Colt hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Fine to very fine. Bbl retains about 95% strong original blue with scattered light rust pitting and a few small nicks above the forearm. Receiver retains about 85% dull original blue with a couple of battered screws. Wood is sound with a couple of gouges and scratches and usual handling & use marks and retains 92-94% original varnish. Good mechanics, bright shiny bore. 4-52581 JR322 (1,000-1,500)
