*RARE WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 DELUXE SHORT RIFLE. Cal 44 WCF SN 659570 Very rare short rifle with 20” take down bbl, half magazine, ivory bead front sight, folding Lyman 6A rear sight and a Lyman #21 receiver sight. Wood is nicely figured straight grain walnut with “I” style checkered forearm and capped pistol grip stock with crescent buttplate with rare trap. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Bbl and receiver retain 97-99% strong bright original factory blue. Take down ring and forend cap have flaked to about 50% blue with the balance light patina. Wood is sound with minor handling and storage marks and retains most of its strong bright original varnish. Mechanics crisp, brilliant shiny bore. 4-52414 JR211 (3,500-5,000)
