SHARPS LARGE FRAME SINGLE SHOT PISTOL. Cal. 36. SN: 796. 6-3/8″ rnd bbl, marked “C. SHARPS & CO’S / RIFLEWORKS / PHILA. PA.” on the right side of the frame below the hammer and “C. SHARPS / PATENT / 1848 – 52” on the left sideplate. CONDITION: Fine. Traces of blue overall mixed with scattered light pitting. Minor scratching at the takedown pin. 98% varnish on grips with numerous small dents. Action is fine. 4-52960 FS200 (3,000-4,000)
