ROBBINS, KENDALL & LAWRENCE TARGET RIFLE. CAL. 36. 30-1/4” octagonal bbl, marked “ROBBINS. / KENDALL & / LAWRENCE / WINDSOR VT. / 1847” on the lockplate. The heavy cantilever sight has a sliding adjustment wrapped around a dovetail on the extension. The rifle is equipped with a false muzzle and a bullet starter. CONDITION: 20% original brown on the bbl, mostly brown patina with light pitting, heavier at the breech. Left side of the forearm has several splinters and is missing about 4” of wood.
