HILLIARD DBL BBL RIFLE SHOTGUN. Cal. 36/16 ga. 33” rnd bbls. Unusual in that the right bbl is the shotgun bbl and the left bbl is the rifled one. The marking at the breech of the bbl is almost completely obscured by pitting but the number, 2293, can be read. The extended tang sight is missing. The iron ramrod is a poor replacement. The locks are marked, but pitting obscures the marking. CONDITION: Very heavy pitting at the rear of the bbls, otherwise smooth brown patina. Wood has been cleaned with some fill around the patchbox and a repair through the action. Locks are good. 4-52618 FS60 (500-800)
