KENDALL UNDERHAMMER FOWLING PIECE. Cal. 18 ga. SN: 365. 41-7/8” part octagonal bbl, marked “N. KENDALL / WINDSOR VT. / PATENT” behind the rear sight. “SMITH’S / IMPROVED / PATENT / STUD / LOCK” on the bbl tang. CONDITION: Gray/brown patina mixed with light to moderate pitting. Rear ramrod pipe is battered, causing considerable damage to the ramrod. Triggerguard rear screw is stripped out. Tiger stripe maple stock has a long crack extending forward from the buttplate that is still solid. 4-52673 FS94 (1,250-1,750)
