*PRE-WAR COLT SUPER 38 SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal. 38 Super. SN 15105. Usual government model configuration with 5” bbl, fixed sights, and full-checkered walnut grips. It has an original 2-tone magazine with marked base plate. Accompanied by an original dark maroon hinged lid box with dark blue and white end label containing a “Shooting Suggestions” pamphlet and bristle brush, unfortunately numbered to another pistol (#16009). CONDITION: Extremely fine plus. Overall retains 97-98% glossy bright original factory blue with only slight muzzle end wear on the slide and a spot or two of faint sharp edge wear. Mechanics are crisp; grips and magazine are crisp with brilliant shiny bore. This pistol may have been fired, but if so, very little. Box is also extremely fine with a few chips on the edges and slightly fuzzed corners with a small wear spot on the back. 4-53055 JR628 (1,500-2,500)
