*SMITH & WESSON 3RD MODEL 44 HAND EJECTOR DA REVOLVER. Cal. 44 Spcl. SN S71545. Scarce revolver with blue finish, 5-screw frame, 5” bbl, integral half moon front sight, and standard trigger & standard hammer with checkered spur. It has diamond checkered silver medallion walnut grips. Accompanied by an original gold & blue 2-pc box for the 1926 model revolver and tools. Also accompanies is a Smith & Wesson letter identifying this revolver and indicating it was shipped Nov. 7, 1947 to Lee Hardware Co., Shreveport, LA. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Appears to be unfired. Retains virtually all its original factory finish to revolver and grips with a light cylinder line. Box is fine. 4-51691 JR556 (1,500-2,500)
