COLORFUL POSTER FOR INTER-TRIBAL INDIAN CEREMONY OF 1936. This colored illustration done by noted artist, Ed Rawlins in 1924, depicts Southwestern Indian brave holding a Winchester Model 73. Titled: “Gallup, New Mexico invites you to attend this inter-tribal Indian ceremonial August 26, 27, 28, 1936. Seven thousand Indians of 26 tribes meet at Gallup, New Mexico in the Indian capital. Tribal dances, chants, weird rites, sports, races, arts and crafts”. SIZE: Poster only, 22” high x 14” wide. CONDITION: A couple of tears on the edge, and tack holes in corners.
