*SCARCE WALTHER HP MILITARY STYLE SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Cal 9 mm. SN 23490. Commercial version of the venerable military P-38, made 1937 – 1945. Our pistol is 2-toned with blue bbl and plum colored frame. Slide has a blued top with plum colored sides. It is fitted with checkered black composition grips. All the various pieces, including internal pieces, have tiny eagle “N” proofs. The magazine is unmarked. CONDITION: Very fine to extremely fine. All matching. Bbl retains 94-96% original finish with light muzzle wear, a thin spot over the chamber area and some small nicks on the bbl. Slide retains 93-95% strong original finish and the frame 96-97% original finish. Grips are sound with a scraped area along the top of the left side. Bright shiny bore. 4-50439 JR311 (750-1,250)
