*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE. Cal. 44WCF (44-40). Standard carbine with 20” bbl, full magazine, very nicely figured uncheckered wood with straight stock and smooth steel carbine buttplate. Bbl has square base carbine front sight and carbine ladder rear sight. Left side of receiver has a staple and ring. SN 987705. CONDITION: Very fine. Bbl and magazine tube retain 96-97% strong bright original blue with a couple of small scratches. Receiver retains about 90% strong bright original blue with the balance flaked to light patina. Buttplate retains most of its original blue. Wood is sound and retains virtually all its bright original finish with minor handling and storage marks with three or four fine scratches on left side of buttstock.
