SCARCE 1902 LUGER CARBINE. Cal. 30 Luger. Standard carbine with 11-3/4” bbl, ramp front sight, 300m rear sight, full checkered wood grips with schnable tip checkered forearm secured with a single wedge and having a sling swivel loop attached. Accompanied by its matching numbered detachable buttstock with straight grip, checkered wrist sling eye and serrated horn buttplate. SN 23523. CONDITION: Very good. All matching. Bbl and receiver retain about 90% original blue overall with a couple of thin spots and a cleaned area near the muzzle. Frame retains 92-93% strong original blue, thinned on the front strap and sideplate. Bolt link and toggle retain about 95% bright blue. Overall, it retains about 40% straw colors. Wood is sound with the forearm having a couple of bruises in the checkering and some other nicks and scratches from handling and use. Buttstock retains 90-92% original varnish with normal handling and use marks with bug bites in the buttplate. Strong bore that is lightly frosted. 4-48680 JR584 (10,000-15,000)
