ASSEMBLED SCOTT SHORT RIFLE. Cal. 41. 12” part oct bbl marked “C.E.SCOTT. / ALBANY” on top. “STEELE / & LATHROP” is marked on lock. The rear sight is from a Spencer carbine. The front sight is installed backwards. Stock is flat with an uncheckered pistol grip and a sheet brass buttplate. NSN CONDITION: Light to moderate pitting on the bbl, some heat scale on the tang where it has been straightened. The ramrod pipe has been broken and re-soldered and is broken again. The lock is good. 4-48826 FS205 (200-400)
