SMITH & WESSON 38 SAFETY HAMMERLESS 1ST MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 38 S&W. Nickel finish 3-1/4” bbl with black monogrammed, 2-pc hard rubber grips. This is 1 of only 5,250 made in 1887. SN 45. CONDITION: Fine, all matching except grips which are unnumbered. Overall it retains 93-95% strong original nickel with some peeling on the left side by the hinge pin and some flaking and rust on the cylinder. Bore is bright and shiny with a few spots of rust, mechanics are good. Grips are fine with light wear. 4-48169 JR209 (Anderson Collection) (700-1,200)
