SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1855 CADET RIFLE. Cal. bored out to 60. 38” bbl. Bbl and locked date 1869, issue number “32” is stamped on the bbl tang. NSN CONDITION: Gray patina overall, with light pitting, heavier on the buttplate. 49-1/2” stock including forearm tip. Ramrod is a short replacement as the ramrod channel is plugged. The lock is crisp. There are several repaired cracks on the stock and some slivers missing along the forearm. 4-48863 FS181 (2,500-3,500)
