SPRINGFIELD MODEL 1888 TRAPDOOR RIFLE. SN. 556143. Cal. .45-70, 32-5/8” bbl, “SWP” cartouche dated 1892 on the left side of the stock. CONDITION: Very good. 50% thinning blue mixed with light surface rust and pitting. The casehardening colors on the breechblock have faded to silver. Ramrod bayonet is well worn with light surface rust. Issue numbers are stamped on the right side of the buttstock. 4-47818 FS67 (350-700)
