*RARE SMITH & WESSON FIXED SIGHT K-22 1ST MODEL REVOLVER. Cal. 22LR. Blued finish, 6” bbl, fixed sights, integral front sight, square but, diamond checkered, silver medallion walnut grips. Left side of the bbl is marked “SMITH & WESSON” with 2-line patent dates at the top and the caliber marking on the right side. Right forward side of the frame is marked “MADE IN U.S.A.” There is a tiny S&W trademark logo on the left side of the frame below the thumb latch. Patent dated hammer and trigger. SN 650945. CONDITION: Fine, all matching including the grips, retains 93-94% strong dark original blue with the wear mainly on the bbl and some minor flaking on the frame and sideplate.
