DUFFNER & KIMBERLY MAGNOLIA BORDER FLOOR LAMP. Beautiful Duffner & Kimberly floor lamp has magnolia border shade with beautiful pink and maroon magnolia flowers with green leaves against a naturalistic reddish-brown background. Top half of the lamp is done depicting stylized leaves with curving lines in browns, blues, yellow and green. Shade rests on an unusual floor base with open round bottom with impressed leaf design around the bottom circle. The shaft has a center ball with stylized acanthus leaf decoration at top and bottom and leads to a four socket cluster. Base is finished in dark brown patina. While we have not seen this base before, there is an illustration in the book Mosaics Shades Vol. II by Paul Crist on page 167 that shows a table lamp base with a similar configuration on the bottom. SIZE: Shade is 24″ dia. Lamp is 65-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with very few tight hairlines. 5-61904 (17,500-22,500)
