TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK TABLE LAMP. Lamp begins with a heavily mottled geometric back shade, complemented by a single band of turtleback tiles. The glass used in the shade is a very warm amber hue with iridescent butterscotch turtlebacks. The original patina to the shade is multicolor and very rich. The shade is supported by a bronze base which carries a desirable dark brown and green patina finish and is decorated with tobacco leaves. Base has a single socket with duplex burners, with later electrification. Shade is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 1419”. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 171”. SIZE: Shade is 14″ dia. Lamp is 16″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with very few minor hairlines, mostly to border of shade. 5-61370 (28,000-32,000)
