TWO STEUBEN AURENE ITEMS. 1) Steuben wine glass with twisted stem and slightly flaring lip. Wine glass is finished in gold aurene with nice pink highlights. Signed on the underside in silver “Aurene Haviland & Co”. 2) Steuben demitasse cup and saucer. The cup and saucer are done in sterling silver with the cup having a gold aurene insert. The aurene finish has nice blue highlights. Insert is signed “Aurene Haviland & Co.” while the cup and saucer are each marked “Gorham Sterling”. SIZE: 6-1/4″ t and 2-1/4″ t respectively. PROVENANCE: From a private Pennsylvania collection. CONDITION: Both items are very good to excellent. Demitasse insert may not have started life with this cup. 5-60221, 5-60224 (200-400)
