HANDEL TABLE LAMP.

HANDEL TABLE LAMP. Very interesting Handel shade has chipped ice finish and is decorated with an acid cut back Art Deco design encircling the skirt. The shade is finished in a rich turquoise finish. Shade is signed on the inside edge “Handel 55/6750” and artist signed “Celd.” Shade rests atop a six sided base with heavy vertical ribbing. Base has a three socket cluster, pierced heat cap and is finished in a deep, rich brown patina. Base is signed on the underside with impressed block letters “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Lamp is 24″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private Virginia collection. CONDITION: Very good with one small shell shaped flake to the exterior bottom edge of shade. Sockets and pull chains on base have been replaced. 5-60338 (1,000-2,000)
