TIFFANY STUDIOS BOOKMARK BOOKENDS. Absolutely one of the nicest pair of Tiffany bookends that we have had the privilege to offer. Each begins with a gold dore finish and is complimented by a painstakingly polychromed decoration. The Bookmark pattern features the use of typographical marks of early printers and publishers using high and low relief as a nice contrast. The colors featured on these bookends run the gamut from earthen greens and browns to butterscotch and blues. Signed on the tongue “Tiffany Studios New York 1056″. SIZE: 4-1/2″ x 5-3/4”. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with minor polychrome wear to high relief areas commensurate with age as well as minor oxidation to gold finish. 5-69954 (1,500-2,000)
